This Privacy Policy explains how Braidey (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses and protects your information when you use our file-sharing and collaboration service (the “Service”).
Information we collect
- Account information — your name, email address and profile details when you sign up.
- Files and content — files, notes, comments and other content you upload or share through the Service.
- Payment information — processed securely by our payment partner Razorpay. We do not store your card or bank details on our servers.
- Usage data — log data such as device, browser, IP address and actions taken, used to operate and improve the Service.
How we use your information
- To provide, maintain and improve the Service.
- To process subscriptions and payments.
- To communicate with you about your account, security and updates.
- To keep the Service secure and prevent abuse.
File storage & retention
Uploaded files are stored on secure cloud infrastructure delivered via a content delivery network (CDN). Files shared through our free, no-account homepage transfer are automatically deleted after a limited retention period. Files in registered accounts are retained according to your plan.
Sharing & third parties
We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with service providers who help us operate the Service — including Razorpay (payments) and our cloud storage/CDN provider — and only as needed to provide the Service, or where required by law.

Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

The Service is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
